Her First Wedding

This year, Mother's Day was extra special - we were invited to Claudia and Ismael's wedding. This was the first wedding Bradyn had ever been to, which was even more fun. She was so excited!

All of the mothers were given a rose, which Bradyn quickly claimed as her own.

What a ham.

They had someone making balloon swords for the kids, to keep them entertained after lunch.

MS Walk 2010

Last Sunday, for the 6th year in a row, Kevin's Heroes participated in the Tri Cities 5 km Walk for MS. Although we started the walk in the rain yet again, by the half-way point we were peeling the layers off as the sun came out and it warmed up.

We had 12 walkers this year and together, we raised our second highest total yet - $5,575! (I had 2 more pledges come in since I sent out my thank-you email) This brings our 6 year team total to $29,713! I cannot tell you how proud I am of this team and our contribution to MS research. This, along with the recent news that Kevin's MRI showed no new lesions in the last 5 years - proof that his disease is progressing slowly - makes me so grateful for the support of all our family in friends.

Bradyn almost walked the whole 5 km all on her own. Just 2 small breaks: One on Brittany's back...

... and one on Claudia's shoulders.

The last 1 km burst of energy. Brittany, Claudia, Bradyn and Natasha decided to run. (Didn't last long, but it was a good effort.)

Making sure she got every last drop of milk in that bowl of cereal. (Thanks for getting all the food ready for us Jane & Glenn!)
