Barrettes - In Bradyn's Hair!

Tonight, Bradyn found the bag of barrettes I had bought eons ago, but was never able to use because she would pull them right out of her hair. Not only did she allow me to put some in her hair, but she kept handing them to me saying 'more'. I think they actually lasted an hour this time. Do I dare dream that my little girl is ready to let me make her look girly?

Fun At The PNE

On opening day, we headed off to Vancouver for Bradyn's second annual trip to the PNE. I think her favourite part of the day was visiting with all the animals. (Or, was that Daddy's favourite part of the day?)

Feeding the baby goats.

She loved watching the baby chicks....

but she definitely had some reservations about the llamas.

After excitedly watching the PNE mascott for several minutes, Bradyn suddenly turned shy when it was finally her turn to get her picture taken.

Loon Lake

At the end of July, we went up to visit Grandma and Grandpa at Loon Lake. Once again, Bradyn had a great time. This visit was a bit more tiring than the last, because now that Bradyn is on the move, we were constantly chasing after her.

So excited to tell Mommy & Daddy all about her first tractor ride.

Cooling off in the pool. (She was so anxious to get in there that she didn't wait to get her bathing suit on - she just climbed right on in.)

Walking in the cucumber greenhouse at Desert Hill Farm.

Yes folks, believe it or not, that's Miss Bradyn eating a vegetable!!! I couldn't believe my eyes either.

Picking peaches with Daddy (but still eating that cucumber).

STILL eating that cucumber. I guess the secret is that she'll only eat fresh veggies, right off the vine. (That could pose a bit of a problem...)

Acting shy with the horses.

Since we didn't get any photos during her first boat ride, we had to pose for a few afterwards.

Don't worry Bradybug - you're not the first person to give up.

The Toilet Paper Artist

Notice the precise art of placing only one tampon in each and every toilet paper roll... gifted artist or typical toddler getting into everything?
