More All Star Westling

Last night was a very late night for our little Miss B. Along with Daddy, Uncle Dallas and Daddy's friend Neil, Bradyn attended her second All Star Wrestling show. I was thrilled that instead of being woken up at 6:30 this morning it was 8:20, but the sweetest thing was that she came running into my room carrying a picture saying "Mommy look - I got Raven Lake's picture!" Then, "and they spelled my name right this time when they signed my paper."

Kevin said she was sitting on her chair on her knees so she could get a better view of the ring.

I think she's getting way too comfortable hanging out with wrestlers. No more shyness, just all smiles as she poses with her friends.
Here she is with Kyle Sebastian.

And her favourite, Raven Lake. (Yes, I'm sure the fact that Raven Lake is a First Nations wrestler and that her outfit has some resemblance to Pocahontas' has something to do with her admiration.)

Volcano

Last but not least, The Mighty I-Ton. (Definitely not Scotty Mac material, but maybe Mommy should check out the next show....)

Bizarre Singing - Part 1

One night last week while I was working at the computer, Bradyn was colouring some pictures and chatting away as per usual. The chattering eventually turned into singing, but I admit that I was totally tuning her out. However, at one point I suddenly realized that she was singing about aliens, and I was intrigued. Not wanting to distract her, I simply stopped and listened. Not only was she singing about aliens in the sky and travelling to other planets, but she was clearly just making it up as she went along (the tune and the words). The longer I listened, the harder it was to not to laugh. Wanting to get it on tape, I slowly reached up and grabbed the camera, put it to movie mode, and placed it on the desk. My fear was as soon as she saw the camera, she'd stop. Thankfully, she didn't.

I realize this probably won't be as funny for you as it was for me, but I thought I'd share anyway. This is just another example of her definitely being Kevin's kid - Bradyn sure didn't get this ability from me.

Singing - Not Now Please

Singing - National Pride

During the Olympics last month, Bradyn could often be heard singing O Canada while wandering around the house. Her renditions were very creative. The fact that she messed up the words does not make this her best performance, but I do love her delivery of 'God keep our land glorious and free'.
