Her First Shiner

We knew it would happen sooner or later. Now that Bradyn is moving all over the place, on her feet as much as she can, and getting braver, we knew it meant there would be falls. Last night she was standing at the couch and made a face plant on the floor. The poor little thing cried for a bit, but Daddy got her calmed down and soon after, the fall was a distant memory. To be honest, it's not the red, swollen area under her eye that bothers me - it's the orange nose! It doesn't seem that bad in person but, every time I take a picture these days, it seems florescent. Anybody know how to 'fix' it?

oh dear Bradyn!! You have an owie! You little sweetheart. You know Brenda she is changing daily- she looks so different, like a little girl already! I am sorry Bradyn, but it is the first of many, I am afraid. It is all part of growing up, and the orange nose will soon turn back to pink again. Love you lots.

grandma's right - you do look different from the last post! As for the bruise, a frozen teething ring on the boo-boo and a toy to distract works every time. Well, that and lots of hugs and kisses!

Don't fret Bren even the bigger ones tend to have odd bumps I remember a chin flop on a pool slide that turned out real colorful but then back to pink.

YOWTCH~! When the Kegger started standing upright she slipped into a door-jamb and gave herself a goose-egg on the forehead that actually broke skin...it was so painful looking too. Luckily kids are pretty much made of rubber, and she bounced (no pun intended) back fine.
