Eating By Herself

This week I decided to throw caution to the wind and let Bradyn eat her lunch all by herself. She's been grabbing at the spoon for a long time now, she loves eating her cookies on her own, and last week she ate half a banana by herself and didn't even have a bib on. I figured what the heck...all messes can be cleaned up, right? On the menu was her first introduction to macaroni and cheddar cheese, with a side of good, old, reliable shredded carrots. We started out with bowls, but they were quickly pushed aside when Miss Brady decided food tastes better right off the tray. She was at it for a good 45 minutes and she sure had a lot of fun. I have since learned that the messes can get a lot bigger and require a little more effort to clean up, but it's all worth it when you see the look of pride on her face.

Soon it will be on the wall!!
You little Sweetheart. Bradyn, you are beautiful. Aunty Rena loves your new Dodge. It looks like you had a wonderful holiday at the family cottage, I am so glad. You will soon enjoy the lovely air there and be able to sleep well, like the big kids do.
We love you lots, give your Mum and Dad big hugs and kisses from us. Grandma will be there in a week for all the hugs and goobers.
XXXXX OOOO XXXX OOOO
Oh my, 45 minutes of doing anything at one time is amazing in my opinion. What great photos. I don't know if I am ready for that yet. I think I'll need to buy a tarp to put under the high chair.
Look at the joy in that little face! She looks like a pro! I guess I'd better get a drop cloth for Christmas and a crate for Whiskey or else she's going to gain 10 pounds between Kiera and Brady dropping food off their trays!
