January

After our crazy December, January seemed a little tamer, but it still flew by.  Here are a few highlights:

Girls' sleepover selfie.  I think this was the night that Kevin went to Ballroom Brawl at the Commodore and stayed over at Dallas', so Bradyn and I had a sleepover in my bed.  We sent this picture to Kevin - who was not to happy about Miss B "messing up" his side of the bed.

I love when Bradyn rediscovers toys that have been hidden away.

On January 24, thanks to a very generous Christmas and birthday gift from Grandpa, Bradyn went on a Grade 4-5 ski trip to Whistler with her school.  I won't deny that I was not keen on this idea at first but, sucked up my Mommy Paranoia and agreed to let her go.  These girls were WAY too loud and obnoxious for 5:45 am at the school.

I waved good-by and promptly went back home to bed.

Still wearing her gear upon arriving home.  Bradyn had a wonderful time and was very quick to ask if she could go skiing again the next weekend.  Um, no.  "Next month?"  How about next year?

The following weekend, we finally got to do our snowshoeing trip to Mt Seymour with BFF Diana and her mom, Rhea.  We had a wonderful time.  Yes, there was a lot of whining at the beginning and end, but in the middle, we all had fun enjoying the snow.

Taking a break.

Lunch time!

Digging my car out so we could go home.  And I mean literally digging.  We had to borrow a shovel and push my car out onto the road.  I couldn't believe how much snow came down while we were up there!  When we got down to the highway, where it was raining and there was absolutely no sign of snow, it definitely felt odd to still have snow piled on the car.

Even if I have to go alone, I will definitely be back up there next year.
