Catching Up

Yes, I know I have been delinquent in posting my Christmas pictures, but somehow it is already January 10th, and I don't know where the past 3 weeks went. Mom & Dad arrived December 21st, and it was all full speed ahead from there.

True to tradition, Nana & Bradyn made cookies (a few times) while Nana was here. This time, there seemed to be a great system... Nana dropped them on the cookie sheet and then Brady squished them with the fork and put the sprinkles on.

On Christmas Eve day, we got to look after Jack because his mom & dad had to work. What a great day! Not one argument or disagreement between the two, and Jack even wanted to dress up in Brady's play clothes. What a good sport!

Breaking for lunch.

Decorating the gingerbread house.

After putting on her Christmas PJ's, we had to put out the snacks for Santa and his reindeer...

Taking a break from presents on Christmas morning - we needed food! While the moms were in the kitchen getting brunch ready.....

The grandpas were trying to put together Bradyn's train set.

Bradyn loved her 'Angelina Ballerina' doll from Nana & Poppa, and she has become a permanent fixture in Bradyn's bed.

Posing in her new Belle dress with her Belle doll and her Calico Critters house. (Thankfully, the fact that she didn't get the Cinderella doll she asked for was never even mentioned.)

Poppa, carving up the turkey for Christmas dinner.

My friend Chrissy and her little girl Nicole sent Bradyn a package of dress-up clothes that Nicole had grown out of. It couldn't have been more perfect or timely... a full Pocahontas outfit, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty shoes, Mulan shoes and headpiece (her new favourite movie from what I can tell), CD's, purses and other fun stuff. For me, the best was good old Minnie Mouse. Thank you Nicole!

During the break we took a trip to Science World. We all had a great time (right up until the biggest meltdown in Bradyn's history.... it took Kevin and I 15 minutes to get her strapped into her car seat!)

I hope you all had a wonderful 2009 holiday season, and wish you a safe, happy and healthy 2010.
