Artwork

As I mentioned in a posting that I wrote when Bradyn first started daycare, I love when Bradyn has artwork to bring home from school. I love to see how her little mind works by the way it comes out in her drawings. I'm going to be very sad the day I have to start purging all the paper, but at least I will have my electronic versions (I scan everything into the computer and have put some of them on my digital frame at work). When I scan the pictures in, I ensure that I ask Bradyn what each picture is, and label it as such. (If I don't ask her that day, I find that the explanation changes because she forgets.) Here are some of my 'recent' favourites.

From October 2009 - the Moody family.

May 2010 - a mermaid

June 2010 - "Me and Diana" (her best friend)

July 2010 - Her underwater interpretation

September 2010 - a card she made for Diana, wishing her good luck at kingergarten.

September 2010 - "Me & Daddy" (notice the evolution of facial details - forehead lines)

September 2010 - "Our house & Sandy's house" (Sandy lives in the townhouse next to us)

This is the best...
September 2010 - "My iPod" (she doesn't have her own, but has asked for one for Christmas because it frustrates her that Kevin and I don't have the same songs on ours, and she can't listen to all songs in both cars)
