Another School Concert

Yesterday was Bradyn's second school concert at Westwood Montessori and I have to admit, it was just as much fun as last year. No, it was better - Kevin was able to make it this year.

Starting off with "Oh Canada".

One of the cutest things about the concert is that each time the curtains open, you see all the little eyes searching frantically for their parents in the audience. We were in the second row this year, so Bradyn found us pretty quickly.

This was the other full day class, but I just loved this act that they did - Colour Rock. The little girl on the far left totally stole the show.

I think this was the 'Numbers Rumba' act. (although I don't remember what a red apple had to do with it)

Last year she was a fish, but this year it was a donkey.

This is Bradyn and her best friend Diana, who is going off to Kindergarten in September. Although Bradyn knows this, I don't think she realizes that she won't get to see her every day. Once Brady gets to kindergarten, they will be in the same school again, so I really hope that they stay friends. They are just so darned cute together.

There's something about this picture that I just love. They might have their fights, but watching them together just warms your heart.

Later in the afternoon, thanks to a break in the weather, the school had a pot-luck picnic in the park. Watching all those kids playing together, eating, laughing and having a wonderful time was so much fun. I can't wait until next year.
