Wrestling
I know it's been a while since I've posted any pictures, but it's been a bit nuts. No excuses, just life. It has also been some time since we've had any wrestling photos on here. :-)
Back in September, Kevin, Bradyn and I attended a local PoCo ECCW show. It has been quite some time since I've been at one, and I was not sure what to expect. As you may know by now (thanks to Brittany hacking my Facebook account Friday night at the Christmas party), I've been working out with a trainer since August (and having some good results, if I do say so myself). Much to Kevin & Bradyn's delight, my trainer used to compete under the ring name Veronika Vice for the prestigious SHIMMER women's professional wrestling promotion based in Chicago, and she is a 3-time former NWA Supergirls Champion. At the PoCo show, we got to see Veronika's former tag-team partner, one of Pro Wrestling Illustrated's top-ranked female wrestlers in the world, Nicole Mathews.
I admit that I did a terrible job of getting photos - I don't think I can blame it on the camera any more. Besides seeing Nicole, I think the highlight of Bradyn's night was being chosen by former WWE-contracted wrestler "Ravenous" Randy Myers to wear his jacket during his match.
Ravenous Randy, battling it out with Bishop for the NWA Canadian Heavyweight Championship.
And he won! Well, for a short time anyway - in a classic "Dusty Rhodes Finish", the original referee reversed the decision and returned the belt to Bishop.
"Good Job"
Cuddles with Nicole. (I think Kevin was jealous)
Last month, we attended another ECCW event in PoCo - Wrestling With Hunger - where the audience was asked to bring donations for the local food bank. You may remember we went to the same event several years ago (click on the link and scroll to the bottom of the page): Her First Wrestling Event
This time, Bradyn was a little braver, and decided to heckle some of the 'bad guy' wrestlers. Does she look worried that they may come after her?
And yes, that is Ravenous Randy's jacket again. I'm starting to think Bradyn is his personal groupie.
I could not figure out what Bradyn was doing, but then I realized she was paying homage to Randy's mohawk by doing this. What a nut.
Getting big thanks again, for a job well done.
There's no denying it - Bradyn is definitely a wrestling fan, just like her Daddy.

Ok, the "hommage to the mohawk" shot was hysterical!
