TWELVE ?!!

Somehow I now have a TWELVE year old daughter.  How is that possible when I still feel like I'm in university?  (well, except for when my poor body aches from working out or just crouching down to get something)

Bradyn had her birthday party on Saturday February 10 and like last year, she decided to make her own cake (with just a little help from mom).  I'd say she did a pretty good job!

Bradyn also took full control of all planned activities and decorations this year.  I won't lie - it was pretty great to start taking a back seat and have less to do for the festivities.

(The Sour Challenge was vetoed for Pop Pong)

After the smoothies, I realized I'd forgotten to take photos so I recreated the station.

All-day snacks, including the sour candies.

I also missed the horror make-up but managed to catch Allison before she wiped it all off.

Karaoke was... interesting.  Some good, some bad.  LOL

The kick-boxing was fun to watch.

I think Lola preferred showing off her dance skills.

Pop Pong was a huge hit.  I swear, Bradyn has never seen me play Beer Pong so I don't know where she came up with it.

The pop shots were fun though - and gave me a good look into the future (sigh).

The girls took a break from the festivities to cheer on Jeremy Kennedy during his Australian UFC fight.  Bradyn's Jiu-Jitsu coach, Shawn Albrecht, was in Jeremy's corner coaching him.  3 of the 6 girls that came to her party are on Bradyn's wrestling team!  So cool.

Digging into the Little Caesars pizza and Crazy Bread - Bradyn's go-to birthday party dinner.

Opening presents!

Finally, the cake!

What a fun party.  Bradyn really has some wonderful friends.

On Sunday we went to dinner at Red Robin with Uncle Dallas, Aunty Ita and Bradyn's Birthday Buddy, Grandpa.  76 and 12 this year.  Sadly, I totally forgot to take a picture.

On the 13th, Bradyn got one gift first thing in the morning because she was dying to wear it to school.  Thank you Aunt Sherri, Uncle Jason, Kiera and Robee!

After Jiu-Jitsu class and her sushi birthday dinner, Bradyn dug into the rest of her gifts.  Once again, she got spoiled.

The snow started to fall on our way home from Jiu-Jitsu.  After the gifts were opened it was pretty clear it was going to stay a while.

Happy Birthday Bugaboo - we love you bunches.
