Thank you, Bradyn

Before tomorrow is upon us, when everyone will be sharing photos and showing appreciation for their moms, I wanted to share this..... 
Many days, I don't feel like a mom. I'm doing my best to survive the rat-race we call life and there just happens to be a smaller person in our house that's living through the chaos right along with Kevin and me. When I stop for a second to catch my breath, I'll look at her. Really look at her. Like this morning when I took this picture. How is it possible ...that I have an 11 year old daughter? How is it possible that she is so beautiful? And stubborn, and frustrating, and strong, and fun, and smart, and kind, and loving and wonderful. I've told Kevin several times that we have officially failed as parents (for one reason or another) and that we're going to have to pay for her therapy when she gets older. Maybe not. Maybe that's just life and that's what being a mom and having a family is all about. What a ride. Thank you, Bradyn. For making me a mom, and for loving me unconditionally. I wouldn't want to be anybody else's mom but yours. xoxo
