Halloween
This year, Bradyn decided she wanted to dress up as a Day of the Dead character. I got off pretty darned easy compared to past years! Bought the costume and some tattoos for her face and voila!
I headed to the school at lunch put the tattoos on and then stuck around for my last Halloween parade at Panorama Heights. It was bitter-sweet to see all the little Disney Princesses, ninjas and superheroes. Funny how the young kids wore 'innocent' costumes and many of the older kids wore the gory/scary costumes. LOL
I think Alex' costume was my favourite, being a rocker at heart myself. The nose ring was too much!
I was thrilled that our trick-or-treating was rain-free this year. It had been pouring earlier in the day, but managed to hold off from 6:30 - 8:30 while we were out. Halloween wouldn't be the same without Bradyn's BFF Diana.
So yes, Bradyn is shorter because she had her legs sprawled out and was bent over a little but yes, Diana has had a HUGE growth spurt. Can you believe these two are only 6 months apart? Yikes!
Playing with their Play-Doh and checking out Bradyn's stash. Luckily, much of this is being put aside for decorating Bradyn's gingerbread house at school in December.
