Bye-Bye Highchair

13 days short of 3 years ago, Bradyn sat in her highchair for the very first time. One of our infamous AirMiles 'purchases', we got the very best for our little Bradybug. It had all the bells and whistles but to be honest, we rarely ever changed it from the original height and incline we set it at. I always meant to do the 'Highchair Shots', but don't think I really did that many.

Nevertheless, here we are, 3 years later. A little (lot) taller, a little (LOT) blonder, but equally as adorable. Although Bradyn hasn't been using the chair for quite some time, it's just one more of those things that I couldn't bring myself to get rid of. I don't want to admit she's growing up. It's the chair of honour at the corner of our kitchen table, that allowed Bradyn's little friends to join us for family meals (teddy bears, 'Baby', Zombie, Barbie dolls...).

Yesterday, I folded 'The Peg' up and took it downstairs. I'm not ready to sell it yet, so it will live in the spare room with the crib, the Rubbermaid tubs of Bradyn's clothes and old toys, and the Little People stuff. I know, I know, but don't give me a hard time - I sold her swing, Jolly Jumper, exersaucer, and some other stuff - I just need to take baby steps.
